We are delighted to announce the opening of a new Ballet Academy Vladimir Ippolitov location in Gstaad.
Starting on Saturday, 7 November 2026, the Academy will offer two weekly programmes at Sportzentrum Gstaad:
- classical ballet for children from the age of four - view details,
- and a new Ballet Barre & Mobility training programme for adults - view details.
Following the development of the Academy in Geneva, Cologny and Nyon, our arrival in Gstaad marks another important step in our mission to make high-quality classical ballet education and intelligent movement training accessible to both children and adults.
Classical Ballet for Children from Age 4 in Gstaad

Every Saturday, 10:00–10:45
The first years of ballet are an important moment in a child's physical and artistic development.
Our children's ballet classes in Gstaad introduce young students to classical ballet in a structured, positive and inspiring environment.
Through carefully adapted exercises, children progressively develop posture, coordination, balance, musicality, flexibility and body awareness, while discovering the joy of movement and music.
The objective is not simply to learn ballet steps. We want children to build strong foundations, develop concentration and confidence, and learn how to move with control, coordination and elegance.
Our teaching is inspired by the principles of the Vaganova Method, adapted carefully to the age, physical development and individual abilities of every child.
Small groups allow our teachers to provide individual attention and ensure that each student progresses safely and confidently.
Ballet Barre & Mobility for Adults in Gstaad

Every Saturday, 11:00–12:00
Our adult programme in Gstaad has been created for people who want to move better, become stronger, improve flexibility and develop better posture — without needing previous ballet experience.
Ballet Barre & Mobility combines elements of classical ballet barre, mobility work, stretching, Pilates-inspired conditioning, balance and functional strength training.
The class is designed as an intelligent full-body workout that develops strength without unnecessary tension and flexibility without forcing the body.
The focus is on improving posture, core stability, mobility, balance, coordination and overall body awareness.
The training is low-impact but precise and effective, making it suitable for different ages and fitness levels.
You do not need to be a dancer.
Whether you already practise Pilates, yoga, fitness, skiing, tennis or simply want to feel stronger and more flexible in everyday life, Ballet Barre & Mobility offers a different way of training the body — combining athletic conditioning with the precision and elegance of classical ballet.
A Different Approach to Adult Training
Ballet training develops alignment, strength, flexibility, balance and control with exceptional precision.
Our Ballet Barre & Mobility programme adapts these principles into an accessible full-body workout for adults. It complements Pilates, yoga, fitness and other sports while helping improve posture, mobility and body awareness.
The aim is simple: to leave you feeling stronger, more open and more connected to your body.
Professional Ballet Expertise in a Small-Group Format
Ballet Academy Vladimir Ippolitov combines the traditions of professional classical ballet training with a modern, individual approach to teaching.
Founder and Artistic Director Vladimir Ippolitov trained at the Vaganova Academy in St Petersburg and danced with the Mariinsky Theatre before continuing his career as a soloist with the Opéra National de Bordeaux and the Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève.
In Gstaad, classes are kept intentionally small, allowing for individual attention and a more personalised learning experience for both children and adults.
