The Concours Arcadanse, held annually at L'Auditorium Seynod in Annecy, has been bringing together young dancers since 2007. Open to amateurs and pre-professionals aged eight to twenty-five, the competition spans classical ballet, contemporary, jazz, and hip-hop — all judged by recognised figures from the dance world.
This year, a group from Ballet Academy Vladimir Ippolitov took the stage with Polka Joyeux — the same piece that earned them Silver at the Rencontres Chorégraphiques in Saint-Chamond. This time, the performance was mastered to perfection. The jury awarded them a Gold medal and a trophy for their outstanding execution.
A beautiful example of what focused training and repeated stage experience can achieve.
